About Magic Shows for Community Events
I offer a variety of different that are fun for the whole family! Strong emphasis on FAMILY! The parents will enjoy the show just as much as the kids!
There are many reasons to host community events throughout the year. It could be something simply for your homeowner’s association, or it could be a giant street festival! Whatever the reason for celebrating, it’s always good to have something families can enjoy together.
Because different community events happen at different times of the year and come with different requirements, please contact me for a quote.

The Adventure Magic Show (Click Here)
The Adventure Magic Show is my flagship show! It was the first magic show I created as California Joe and it is still the most popular. The Adventure Magic Show features magic tricks from around the world, from the Pyramids of Egypt to the Moores of Ireland! It is also my most adaptable show. It can fit in with almost all themed parties and events. Kids love magic and they love adventure! Like all of my shows, it is highly interactive. The kids get to come up and help with the tricks!

Explore the Science of Magic! California Joe teaches how magicians use science to perform magic tricks! SPOILER ALERT!! Some magic tricks WILL be revealed. This show is hands-on. The kids come up to help with the magic experiments. We will end the show with my popular BUBBLE VOLCANO!

Go back 65 million years to California Joe’s Dinosaur Show! Kids love dinosaurs and kids love magic. So why not put them together?! Like all of my shows, The dinosaur magic show is highly interactive with audience participation every step of the way. Great for all grade levels and school carnivals.
Pirate-Themed Magic Show
Take to the high seas on a full-filled magical pirate adventure! The kids will become members of the pirate crew, helping with different tricks and evening get to name our “Pirate Ship.” This 45-min show plays on fun and fantasy! Perfect for schools, libraries, birthday parties, or anyone who loves pirates!

This elementary school assembly is exactly how it sounds! Just a fun show that you can use as a way to REWARD students for their achievements! A couple of examples would be participating in a fundraiser, making the honor roll, or 5th-grade graduation. Those are just a few ideas of how you can celebrate your students’ achievements.

California Joe has performed hundreds of performances for special needs audiences. He understands the spectrum and goes out of his way to make sure the attendants, children or adults, are comfortable and having a great time!

National Parks Magic Show
The kids will be taken on a magical adventure exploring ALL 9 of California’s National Parks! In this fun-filled, interactive magic show, we will learn about water conservation, Native American history, storytelling, and more!
Red Ribbon Week Show
Focusing on making good life choices, California Joe uses magic to connect with the kids and learn about critical thinking and the dangers of peer pressure.
Anti-Bullying (Multicultural) Show
By sharing magic from around the world, the kids will explore different cultures and traditions. The focus is on how our differences make us stronger!
