Prices and Packages
The prices and packages on this page are for birthday parties ONLY.
Deposits and POLICIES
The policies listed below are for both in-person and virtual shows.
Deposits:
- In order to reserve a date and time, you (The Client) must pay a deposit of $100 to hold the date and time.
- Deposits can be paid with a card, Zelle, or Venmo.
- The remaining balance is the total price minus the deposit and is due BEFORE the show begins.
Cancellations:
- The deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE.
- If the event is canceled, The Client may reschedule the event one time at no additional cost.
- This includes cancellations due to government-mandated shutdowns.\
- If The Client CANCELS TWICE and wishes to reschedule for the 3rd time, then the previous deposit will be forfeited and they must pay the total price IN-FULL at the time of scheduling and WILL NOT be entitled to a refund.
- If the Performer needs to cancel their services, then The Client is entitled to a refund of the deposit.
Last-Minute Bookings:
- Bookings made within 3 days (72 hours) must be paid IN-FULL and is NON-REFUNDABLE.
Prices
30-minute Show – $325
45-minute Show – $350
60-minute Show – $375
A $100 deposit is required. Prices are for BIRTHDAY PARTIES ONLY.
ADD-ONS:
- All add-ons are sold by the piece, including balloons. I consider balloons to be a party favor. It’s also much easier when it comes to prices.
- For all add-ons, you will only pay for what is given away at the party. If you were expecting 20 children, but only 13 show up, then you’ll only pay for 13 balloons or candy cups.
- After every child receives an add-on item, I will calculate what is owed and add it to the remaining balance.
- When filling out the inquiry form on the contact page, you may select the add-ons you wish to include after the show.
Simple Balloon Twisting - $3 each
Simple balloons are sculptures that only require one or two balloons and take less than 2 minutes to make.
Examples of simple balloons are your standard dog, cat, sword, bird, teddy bear, ect.
Complex Balloons - $5 each
Complex balloons are larger balloon sculptures that could require several balloons and up to 6 minutes each to make.
Examples of complex balloons are character sculptures like Spiderman, Elsa, and Ariel.
Balloon Candy Cups - $7 each
Balloon candy cups are a great addition to any birthday party. It’s a great party favor! The best part is the kids get a balloon and a cup full of candy!
Although the balloon toppers can be customized to certain themes, not all balloon designs will fit. If there is a particular type of topper you would be interested in, let me know and I’ll tell you if it’s doable.

About The Show
Nobody wants a boring birthday. All of my birthday party magic shows are super exciting and fun for the whole family! You’ve never seen anything like them! Even the parents will be in awe!! One parent even said my show is “like something you would see at Disneyland!” This was a great compliment because I designed my shows to be fully immersive experiences, like going to a theme park. The kids become part of the action!
My birthday party magic show is highly interactive. The kids participate every step up the way. I will bring your birthday boy or girl up on stage with me to perform magic tricks. They will be the star of the show! I work hard to make it all about them. I will not do anything to embarrass the kids. The focus is on them the entire time.

The Adventure Magic Show is my flagship show! It was the first magic show I created as California Joe and it is still the most popular. The Adventure Magic Show features magic tricks from around the world, from the Pyramids of Egypt to the Moores of Ireland! It is also my most adaptable show. It can fit in with almost all themed parties and events. Kids love magic and they love adventure! Like all of my shows, it is highly interactive. The kids get to come up and help with the tricks!

Go back 65 million years to California Joe’s Dinosaur Show! Kids love dinosaurs and kids love magic. So why not put them together?! Like all of my shows, The dinosaur magic show is highly interactive with audience participation every step of the way. Great for all grade levels and school carnivals.
Pirate-Themed Magic Show
Take to the high seas on a full-filled magical pirate adventure! The kids will become members of the pirate crew, helping with different tricks and evening get to name our “Pirate Ship.” This 45-min show plays on fun and fantasy! Perfect for schools, libraries, birthday parties, or anyone who loves pirates!

National Parks Magic Show
